Palace, Muscat SULTANATE OF OMA
After many years of loyal service to the previous Sultan, and as a reward of sorts, a 4 storey palace was given to Sayyid bin Hamood Al Bu Saiid – now the advisor to the current Sultan of Oman. An Architect firm of the West End of London was given role of supervising the construction.
Brian was the Project Architect and representative for the London based architects and was primarily responsible for the interior fit-out. With over 150 Indian labourers on site, an unlimited budget, inadequate documents and a structure that should have been condemned, his role was more about diplomacy and politics!
